Let It Snow song and lyrics

Now that we have snowflakes on our Midnightvisitor site, we have to sing the snow song. So here we go:

Let It Snow song and lyrics

Oh, the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful.
And since we’ve no place to go,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

It doesn’t show signs of stopping,
And I brought some corn for popping;
The lights are turned way down low,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

When we finally say good night,
How I’ll hate going out in the storm;
But if you really hold me tight,
All the way home I’ll be warm.

The fire is slowly dying,
And, my dear, we’re still good-bye-ing,
But as long as you love me so.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

  1. I’ve always liked this song, good choice. Here I’ll have to sing about rain today but so be it, maybe it will be snowing by Christmas.

  2. That’s great – I never did quite know all the words (sounds terrible, doesn’t it). Maybe it’s because we don’t get snow here?

  3. Yay! Love the song…and glad that if I want snow I have to go somewhere that has it. 🙂

  4. It’s one of my favorite songs, too. Good choice.:)

  5. I’ve been singing this song since June, this version specifically:
